Read: Malachi 1:1-2 & John 12:44-50

Question 1: There is a critical connection between understanding Gods statement "I love you" and "believe in me". How can understanding God's love help in the journey to live a life that reflects Jesus?
Question 2: Read Malachi 3:13-15, earlier in Malachi (Ch. 1) the people say "what a weariness" in regards to living according to what God called them to. How has the enemy encouraged the church to feel this way? What can you do to make a difference where you are?
Question 3: according to Malachi(ch. 2) God gave the priests a unique covenant. Read 1 Peter 2:9. What does it look like to be a "priest" who honors a "covenant of life and peace"?
Question 4: How have you experienced the difference between a life lived "with God" and a life lived "without God"?
Question 5: read Malachi 3:1. knowing that this messenger came 500 years after this was spoken to the people will place things in perspective for us. God calls to us the same challenge we see in Malachi. What things in your life need to change knowing that what the Lord has promised could come today?.... or 500 years from now.
Walk It Out: This week we are focused on “Intentional Reading” and how that pertains to DAILY DEVOTION. Jesus has freely invited us to come to experience the empowering practices we see in his ministry. One of the ways we can do this is by choosing to practice "Intentional Reading" in your daily walk with Jesus.
